Heathcote School

Summary
Countryside Gate Automation carried out a detailed site survey and proposed a new set of gates with 358 mesh infill, providing a high level of security. It was also recommended that the existing
automation system was replaced for a 24v electromechanical system, with the required safety devices and new ground induction loop.
Countryside’s fabrication team manufactured new gates with a powder coated finish to match the colour of the existing fencing and gates on site. Our fabrication team was able to design these gates with all the additional brackets installed for the new automation system.
Our automation engineers installed the new system to the customers specification and reconnected the existing access control equipment into the new system, allowing the intercom and staffs access cards to continue to work without disruption to the school’s access network.
Countryside’s civil engineering department installed new ducting across the roadway for new control cables to be installed and reinstated with 6mm hot lay tarmac, warning tape and sand, while maintaining constant access to the delivery area for vehicles throughout the works.
